Set within the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty a short journey to the local village of Combe Martin which boasts a highly recommended 17th century inn Post Office bakery and a few small grocery shops and the pretty village of Berrynarbor. A 20 minute drive brings you to the golden sandy beaches of Croyde Saunton Putsborough and Woolacombe that boast some of the best surf in the South West. Other attractions in the area include The Big Sheep Dartington Crystal Milky Way Amusement Park glass factory and Combe Martin Wildlife Park. Farm activities: guests are welcome to explore the 18 acres of land and meet the resident donkeys pigs and ponies with free pony rides for young children. Sheep and cows also graze the surrounding meadows of the farm. Leisure facilities: outdoor covered swimming pool (the pool is only open Easter-October inclusive) with sun loungers and seating. Games/play facilities: large children s play area with a tree house toys and a trampoline. Indoor games room with table tennis pool table and table football. There are 18 acres of manicured gardens and paddocks making the site a real country retreat ideal for group games. Outside: shared spacious lawned area with outdoor seating. The small harbour town of Ilfracombe on the north Devon coast of England has long been a favourite with tourists. It is located within a few miles of Woolacombe, Berrynarbor, West Down, Lee, Middle Marwood, and Combe Martin and is one of over three hundred towns or villages in Devon in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest major cities are Plymouth and Exeter.
Ilfracombe is set in a natural harbour with some steep hillsides and cliffs leading down to the town centre. It's port still provides home to a number of fishing vessels and there are daily boat trips available from its picturesque harbour. Holidaymakers are well catered for with a number of hotels, guest houses and self catering cottages, as well as numerous small shops, cafes and restaurants.
